Justice Catalyst supports broad, sustainable efforts to fill the access to justice gap. We seek out scalable models of pro-worker, pro-consumer, pro-enforcement legal practice and support their expansion and growth.

The access to justice gap is addressed not only by legal aid, but by mass arbitration, by class actions, and by public enforcement. Creative thinking and innovative legal work can redress power imbalances with a modicum of justice and accountability, and can mitigate the legal system’s tendency to reproduce power, and serve the interests of the wealthy.
