About the Application

Justice Catalyst administers one-year, potentially renewable, project-based fellowships for graduating law students, or graduates up to two years out of law school, to support innovative public interest work at nonprofit organizations, as well as unions, government agencies, and plaintiff-side or public interest law firms.

Application instructions:

• Click here to refer to a full list of the application questions and other requirements including a Host Commitment Letter for the 2025-2026 fellowship cycle, which should be uploaded to the form below as a PDF.

• Note that a new section has been added this year to both the Application and the Host Commitment Letter regarding fee-generating litigation and a partner organization, Justice Catalyst Access Fund (JCAF). We recommend that you speak with your host organization regarding these new sections.

• The application form below does not permit saving drafts, so we recommend you draft your application answers in a separate document and paste them into the form when you are ready to submit.

• Please note that Justice Catalyst does not accept letters of recommendation at the application stage.
