JONATHAN W. CUNEO COSAL/JUSTICE CATALYST FELLOWSHIP
Enabling new lawyers to pursue antitrust litigation as a crucial tool for accountability
The goal of Justice Catalyst’s fellowship collaboration with COSAL is to enable new lawyers to pursue antitrust litigation as a crucial tool for accountability within the U.S. legal system, with a particular focus on facilitating the advancement of underrepresented individuals within the field, emphasizing inclusivity, fairness, and equal opportunity.
COSAL and Justice Catalyst believe that the enforcement of antitrust laws is crucial to promote class equity in the United States. By preventing large corporations from dominating markets and engaging in anti-competitive practices, antitrust laws help create a level playing field for small businesses, consumers, and workers, leading to increased competition, innovation, and fair prices. This, in turn, can help reduce economic inequality and promote a more equitable distribution of wealth and opportunities for all.
