Yulie Landan
Yulie will join the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild.
As a fellow, Yulie will focus on immigration decarceration efforts in Virginia and Louisiana, utilizing and building upon NIPNLG’s previous successes, coalition work, and large attorney network. She will challenge unconstitutional and deficient conditions of confinement through systemic litigation in federal court. She will also provide direct representation through administrative advocacy and habeas petitions to assist individual immigrants in their release from detention.
Yulie is a graduate of Stanford Law School and Columbia University. At Stanford, she participated in the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic and the Domestic Violence Pro Bono. She has clerked for the Honorable R. Guy Cole, Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
