JC Fellow Connie Cho with CBE Challenges Biofuel Refinery Projects in Bay Area

Justice Catalyst Fellow ‘20-’21 Connie Cho, a community lawyer fighting industry to secure equitable clean energy and climate systems with Communities for a Better Environment (CBE), filed a lawsuit alongside the CBE team and the Center for Biological Diversity against Contra Costa County challenging flawed environmental review processes for two oil refineries. The suit alleges that the rushed review process left local communities exposed to significant harms.
