Sarah Medina Camiscoli

Sarah will be joining Public Counsel's Opportunity Under Law Project and IntegrateNYC's Peer Defense Project. Sarah will join these two projects to leverage an intergenerational movement lawyering initiative against the city and state of New York for racism in education. Sarah, a graduate of Yale Law School, Hunter School of Education, and Columbia University, previously worked as a public school teacher in the New York City Department of Education. During her time as an educator, she founded IntegrateNYC—the city's first organization to join students from segregated schools to build tools and advocacy for self determination, school integration, and racial justice.
